- Figure out what your unique image is. Don't copy other people!
- You might want to develop a stage name...

- Come up with original routines. Don't just copy because it's dickish!
- If you can get an agent it can be great if they actually get you some gigs...
- A directive agent can be good, if they work to build your career and don't just take orders! Some other agents won't book you if you have a directive agent because it means they'll share the commission...
- Your contract should be between you and the client, not you and the agent. You might be getting ripped off...
- Be careful with managers! Make sure you run your own career. You're the boss!
- Ask questions and stay in control of your own life!
- Only hire a publicist if you have something to promote...
- A career in stage hypnosis can be rewarding and fun...but keep learning and keep getting better...
- Don't take yourself too seriously!
- Don't be your own biggest fan...it's dickish.
- Be a semi-pro first before you make it your only source of income...
- Don't trash other performers. Build bridges...
