Self Hypnosis for Brain Surgery: A Great Article!

I just came across this amazing website posting today that I thought would be interesting for our readers. The story is about a 29 year-old woman who had to go through brain surgery. She was freaked out by the idea of being unconscious for 6 hours of surgery, and worried about the smallish (2%) risks of serious complications. She used a self hypnosis tape to give herself positive suggestions about relaxation, blood flowing away from the area of the surgery, etc. She was discharged 2 days after the surgery with no complications and she had no bleeding at all during the brain surgery.
